Tin Types & CDVs 1860s–1890s
Tintypes are printed on lacquered iron; Cartes de visite (CDVs) are small card-mounted photos. (19 photos)

These are card-mounted photos, typically 6½" × 4¼" and often bearing the studio's name and location. (28 photos)
